The most notable thing we did this week was eat Beondegi. Scratch that, the kids and Gabriel ate it while I watched and tried not to lose my lunch. I’m super proud of them and it’s something we’ll all remember forever!
This is what traveling, worldschooling, and discovering new cultures is all about. Not eating bugs necessarily, but embracing and immersing ourselves in the local culture.
We also celebrated the 4th of July as an American Expat, found the Bamdokkaebi Night Market and discovered we’re actually living in the World’s Smartest City! Who knew?
