Diapers On A Plane - Food, Snacks, Meals, Restaurants

During our trip to Norway we spent a huge majority of our time eating items from the local 7-11 or Norwegian equivalent Narvesen, because much of the country was closed due to the Christmas holidays. During our time in Kirkenes alone, nothing was open except the hotel restaurant and it was entirely unappetizing due to the exorbitant price tags....
Bonuts, Biscuit Love, Nashville, Hillsboro Village, Breakfast, Brunch, Places to eat in Nashville, diapersonaplane, diapers on a plane, family travel, traveling with kids, creating family memories, misadventures of a family traveling standby
Of all the fabulous places to eat in Nashville, one of our favorites was a breakfast dive called Biscuit Love. It’s located parallel to Pancake Pantry which typically gets all the Nashville love, but because the line was shorter we opted to fill our tummies here. Plus, Biscuits. And, Bonuts.  ► Ranking: #cleandiaper Biscuit Love Facebook: Biscuit Love Twitter: @BiscuitLoveNash Instagram: @biscuitlovebrunch 2001 Belcourt Avenue Hillsboro...

All things considered, during our eight day trip in Norway we actually spent a majority of our time at the Oslo Airport, OSL. Three of those eight days were spent at the Oslo Gardermoen Airport in fact. We had zero success getting on a flight to Tromsø for Christmas, and we had zero success getting on a flight out of...
Miller's Seawall Grill, Galveston, Texas, Seafood, Best Restaurant in Galveston, diapersonaplane, Diapers on a Plane, creating family memories, family travel, traveling with kids, Fish Tacos, Award Winning Desserts
Touted on the interwebz as some of the best seafood Galveston has to offer, Miller’s Seawall Grill was our first choice for dinner the night we arrived in Galveston, Texas. In reality, that had nothing to do with why we chose to eat here. It was just the closest restaurant to our hotel and within walking distance. We were...
Fish Tales, Galveston, Texas, Restaurant, Pleasure Pier, Seafood, creating family memories, family travel, traveling with kids, diapersonaplane, diapers on a plane
We actually had our heart set on some Elephant Ears at the pier to be enjoyed while riding the Ferris Wheel at the end of the dock of Pleasure Pier, but unbeknownst to us, said Pleasure Pier is closed Monday thru Thursday! After drying a bucket of tears and wringing out our soaking clothes from the injustice of it...

My very first job, at 16 years old, was at See’s Candies in Portland, Oregon at the Lloyd Center Mall. I loved it so much I transferred to the store in Orem, Utah during college, and when Gabriel and I were married came back to my job at Lloyd Center. Eating bon bons all day? That's the life. Especially,...

Though we didn’t particularly enjoy our stay at the Icelandair Reykjavik Natura Hotel, we did love the classic and festive Icelandic Christmas dinner spread offered Christmas Day. Considering everything else in the city was closed, we didn’t have many options for sustenance, so we were fortunate to be staying someplace where the food was exceptional. ► Ranking: #cleandiaper Icelandair Reykjavik...

When we visit a new place, we love living as the locals do - participating in local customs, eating the native foods, walking through their neighborhoods, and everything else. When we came to Iceland for Christmas, we wanted to have an Icelandic Christmas. We wanted to eat skate on Þorláksmessa, (dish of putrefying shark), and reindeer on Christmas. We...

It was on our Duck Tour that I first spotted the Cookie Monstah food truck in Boston Commons, and I knew I just had to have it. The clever moniker for a name, the idea of freshly baked cookies, imagining the Cookie Monster devouring cookies after his own name; these reasons all topped the list of why I convinced...
